Patch 3.2.2 PTR: Pandaren and Lil' K.T. pets revealed in latest build

Boubouille over at MMO Champion has once again been rooting around the patch files and he came across the first model of the aforementioned pet. Isn't he cute? Heavy on the Chinese aethetics, we have no idea how you'll be able to get this little guy. While datamining, Boubouille also discovered another hitherto unmentioned pet, Lil' K.T.. Yes, you too can have your own pocket-sized Kel'Thuzad, a tiny trophy-sized lich to call your very own! Again, we're not sure how you get one. Here's hoping he drops off his full-sized self in Naxx but who knows? For now we just have a spell note in the files
And as a note, please remember that Pandarens are not a playable race, nor is this an indication they will ever be added to WoW.
2n - 1 go left, 2n go right. I don't see enough DoTs! More DoTs now! Are you ready for the return of Onyxia? With the Brood Mother being revitalized as a 10 and 25 person raid, you'll need to be sure you know everything that's coming at you. WoW.com's Guide to Patch 3.2.2 will make sure your set for the next patch!

Pandaren Pet = Win

Maybe L'il KT drops from Mr Bigglesworth.
devilsei Aug 28th 2009 6:43PM
Would that mean Lil' K.T will have his own Mr. Littlesworth?
Barinthos Aug 28th 2009 5:08PM
Ooh that's pretty damn cool looking. Wouldn't mind having one myself.

3.2.2 is very much the nostalgia patch. I wonder if they will reference anything else from the last 5 years that has left a lasting impact on the wow community in some way.

I hear the next PTR patch has a Mankrik's Wife minipet. >.>
kalatash Aug 28th 2009 6:35PM
Yeah, but as soon as you summon her, she disappears, making you find her again.
bomyne Aug 28th 2009 5:09PM
I really wish WoW.com would not do this :( At least not until Blizzard has actually confirmed it.
Wolfgang Aug 28th 2009 5:12PM
Do what? Report news?
Siddaru Aug 28th 2009 5:28PM
Confirmed what? The article just says that the model for these pets are in the game files. There's absolutely no speculation in the article.
Wolfgang Aug 28th 2009 5:10PM
The Pandaren is basically a reskinned Tuskarr. Super lame.
Barinthos Aug 28th 2009 5:14PM
I'm liking the clothing it has though. I want one of those damned straw hats! Worgen can keep their Top Hats, I want a Monk Hat!
Monkeynugg Aug 28th 2009 5:34PM
How is this lame in any sense of the word?
Wolfgang Aug 28th 2009 5:41PM
Monkeynugg, It's lame because it's not a Pandaran. It's a Tuskarr dressed up as one.
Wolftech Aug 28th 2009 5:43PM
And how do you know that is not a place holder like like the Oxy Broodling was (this IS on the PTR)? Besides I don't see a problem even if it goes live being the same way. The only thing lame is your post.
Suzaku Aug 28th 2009 11:47PM
Why was this guy rated down?
Blizzard did a lazy job on their Pandaren model. It doesn't even look like a pandaren, it looks like a Tuskarr with dark eye makeup. The WC3 models looked nicer.
If this model isn't still in development, I'll be hugely disappointed.
Dragundam Aug 28th 2009 5:10PM
Someone's gonna have to help me, as I came in well after WoW, BC, and shortly after LK. Why is everyone crazy for Pandaren? What are they? I haven't seen them anywhere in any of the stories, but every time something comes up, everyone goes AMG PLAYABLE RACE PLZ?!
Barinthos Aug 28th 2009 5:15PM
http://www.wowwiki.com/Pandaren = Everything you want to know about Pandaren.
elprogramer Aug 28th 2009 5:30PM
Go play Warcraft III and The Frozen Throne.
Jack Spicer Aug 28th 2009 5:26PM
I love Pandarens. I want them to be a playable race more than anything in WoW.
With that being said, this pet is UGLY UGLY UGLY. Its Manbearpig disguised as a Pandaren.
