Hrm.. ok, call me insensitive, but what is there to save? The old world is getting a make-over, it's a good thing, the game is evolving... Ok, so I'll be first in line to kick Ony in the groin again come 3.2.2, she's an all-time classic.

its not so much about saving anything in particular, its about keeping a record of the old world as it was. down the road, itll be fun to look back at how things were once. i mean, how many people have old screenshots of say, the original andorhal? the caverns of time before it was open? old ironforge? and the list goes on...

It's the same reason you take photos on vacation, birthdays, etc. It's nice to have a visual record for posterity.
