Someone in the comments for the liveblog said something that was really brilliant. Look at Chess...the rules are very very basic (This piece moves this way, that one moves that way) but entire treatises have been written on Chess strategy. Simplification doesn't always mean simple. They announced the way the system is going to work. That's it. They didn't give us too many details, and I'm sure there's entire aspects of the new stat system that they haven't worked out or revealed to us yet. I know you're willing to give it a shot, so this message is more towards the people who aren't, I guess. Just because Blizz announced it at Blizzcon doesn't mean it's getting patched into the game tomorrow. It'll be on the PTR for MONTHS before it sees a release date. So just relax.
