There's a guild on my server that caters to people with poisonous personalities. They expressly say that they are looking for people who can "bust balls and have a good time." I haven't seen them recruiting recently, so I don't know if they are still around, but it was amusing to see their recruitment messages.Moral of the story, there *is* a guild for everyone.

I was in a guild just like that on my old server, but when I transferred to hang with some other friends, I ended up in what I assume is a more "normal" guild environment. Now I kinda miss the constant smack talking, because it was a great mechanism for being truthful without being hurtful. In a normal, considerate environment, in order to tell someone "You are being bad and here's how to fix it", you have to be considerate, beat around the bush, maybe even just never bring it up. In my old guild, all you had to do was say "Hey, huntard, nice job there gemming spellpower into those expertise pants." Everyone would laugh, including the person who had messed up, and then someone would point the guy in the right direction. Situations instantly got diffused because being an ass was the norm, and nobody was taking themselves seriously.
