Why give your Alt 60g to start like all the other rushing sheep? Why not give your Alt NOTHING and then you can play tour new toon the way it was meant to be played? No need to give them a ton of gold(60g IS a ton of gold for a level 1 to start with) and have them geared up before they should be. Learn your class and focus on gaining SKILL rather than using gold to equip your toon with items it shouldnt even have.
I dont get why people want to rush rush rush, instead of playing their toon the way it was meant to be played. Stop giving your alts gold and just play them the same way you played your main, when wow was new.
No need to take advantage of the system and send gold to a new toon.
I'm the type of player that loves wow. I dont try to get away with having a level 1 with 60g, though I know tons of players use this option all the time to get ahead.
I hope one day Blizz will decide to prevent players from rushing and mailing gold, and if they leave, good- go play warhammer. I cant wait for the day that wow is played by people who arent abusing the system and who play because they do love the game and leveling experiences.
Oh well, one can dream...

@xaspro - I love WoW too, having been playing since launch day. I especially love WoW when my level 5 alts have four 20-slot bags so I don't have to return to town every 5 minutes. Hell, my recently rolled level 10 warlock has a 32-slot Shard and 32-slot Herbalism bag (as well as 2 obligatory 20-slots). On my server, that's 1100g of bags on a level 10 alt.
So - why should my characters not have these advances that I've EARNED? Sending gold and bags to an alt isn't "abusing the system". It's using the rewards of the system the way they're intended to be used. I take it you don't believe in heirloom gear either, even though it's specifically intended as a method of rewarding high level end-game play.
Lets be honest -- when you know what order to quest in and exactly where to go at what time, you breeze through the content fairly quickly. A couple of 6-slot bags is a severe handicap. It wasn't when we first levelled, didn't know what we were doing, and took hours for a level. But now, intentionally handicapping your progress is fairly stupid.

Let's not bring up the heirloom items. Well.. beyond that last sentence lets not bring up heirloom items. Or that sentence.
You get the point.

Dude, if I want to have an easier time instead of decking out my alt in grays, all the power to me. If your play style dictates grays/a few questing greens, that's fine. Mine involves sending gold to my alt in order to make the leveling process more painless. Sorry if that bothers you, but I pay $15 bucks, I put in the effort to make the Gold, I can spend my money on repairs and bags. I should probably go buy 20 slots, but then I haven't got around to getting them on my main either. >.> other than the Dragon Hide Backpack, of course.
