In a world (TeH InTeRwEbZ) where you cannot detect humor through tone of speech and body language, you are dancing on a fine line when you attempt subtle humor through text alone. You may increase you social e-rank through e-society for your successful attempts of comedy though more often than not, you will be labeled as a troll* or a idiot* even though you had no intention of doing so and merely a victim of mistaken identity thus creating a very dangerous social environment for your e-ego.
