Pacifist Priest dings 80 on Friday
Reinisch is the pacifist Undead Priest who's aiming to make it to level 80 without killing anything at all (he's the same player as Noor, who we interviewed way back when and followed up with a while ago), and apparently this Friday, he's going to do it. He's inviting everybody out to a party on Friday afternoon, September 4th, at 6pm server over on The Venture Company. He's going to turn in a Dalaran fishing quest to do it, and he's got quick and easy directions posted on how to get to Dalaran as a level 1.Though there might not be as much going on as other big server parties, it's probably worth going just to see him ding level 80 and the level 1 chaos in Dalaran that will ensue, but it's quite an achievement for sure, especially considering that this Priest was actually created before Noor -- he's named after a German priest who stood up to Hitler in the name of peace and was executed for it. It might be nice just to stop by and give the guy a grats as he dings -- pretty impressive to take a goal that most people would say was impossible, and do it in the game not once but twice on two different classes and factions.

OK, now that you've done Pacifist, your next run should be a Foodless Pacifist Atheist Polyless Genocideless Wishless Illiterate run.

The Old World just order a knuckle sandwich, because weapons would count.

Um... Fishing is killing too. When you catch a fish and take it out of the water it usually doesn't survive. And cooking quests always require meat... which means someone killed stuff for the meat.

When my mage was level 53, the wow armory said my largest hit dealt was over 20,000. I don't really trust the stats there

lol gray out the comments of people who disagree, not cause we said anything offensive, just because we disagree.
You guys are so gullible.
There, something offensive. Feel free to gray out this comment too lol

Why thank you for permission on rating your comment down. I don't know if I could ever muster the courage to do so without it.
Liltimmy Sep 3rd 2009 11:35AM
Stop playing the martyr. You're getting down rated because you're saying stupid shit and not reading previous comments.
poggg Sep 2nd 2009 4:45PM
I don't doubt him even a little. First off, you can't put faith in Armory statistics. Second, he's DONE THIS BEFORE, which gives him a bit more credibility, imo.
Grats to him, I could never do something like that.
Jon Do Sep 2nd 2009 4:57PM
Check out his PvP Achievements.
He only has.... 66

Vehicular Gnomeslaughter is my favorite Pacifist achievement.
It's ok because the vehicle did it...?
Jeff Sep 2nd 2009 4:55PM
Largest hit dealt: 41250
JR Sep 2nd 2009 5:00PM
I believe those statistics are counting vehicle fights too, because every toon I've looked into has some crazy number there.

Never been on a 3v3 or 5v5 team and never did it skirmish either so never any chance to earn said killing blows or HK's
Armory is quite often wrong and on kill counts isn't the only place.

In past articles he's admitted that he fought things when he had the "Evil Twin" engineering debuff, or during the zombie event before WotLK. There was also an unfortunate event with his Battle Chicken.
I'm sure he had plenty of time as an "Evil Twin" to rack up at least a few kills.

From the 55 posts that currently exist, at least two things are obvious:
1. This is the most distrustful community of people ever - no one takes anyone at their word about anything.
2. No one reads the previous comment - there are comments separated by fifteen or twenty minutes that note his pvp/killing blow information - read the previous post, ffs.

@Everyone who says 'read the previous comments'
Please rate relevant comments up, that way they stand out and are more likely to be read.

"This is the most distrustful community of people ever - no one takes anyone at their word about anything."
So how is your first day on the Internet treating you?
You are complaining about trust when MMO players regularly lie, cheat, and steal? I mean haven't you heard "MMORPG: Many Men Online Roleplaying Girls"? The Internet isn't the local Scout hall.
"Pics or it didn't happen" came about for a reason.
The guy is probably legit but I can't blame people for being sceptical. Semi-anonymity lets people display the worst parts of their personality.
sprout_daddy Sep 2nd 2009 6:50PM
Indeed you are correct - these tubes are rife with smarmy people who will take credit for anything, but this guy's already done this once with another toon. I guess I thought people might give him just a little benefit of the doubt, since the only thing refuting him is armory, which regularly futzes up my stats.
BTW, "So how is your first day on the Internet treating you?"
Ryan Sep 2nd 2009 5:20PM
I'm hungry.
Zaiguy Sep 2nd 2009 5:20PM
Well, I guess if we're being sticklers he did do Dalaran fishing quest which require you fish and fishing does kill the fish. Unless he threw them all back. Which I doubt.
