Breakfast Topic: Your Cataclysm Bucket List

The Times, they are a-changin'. Cataclysm promises to bring massive amounts of change to Azeroth, reorganizing zones, streamlining quests, and the like. There's a good chance that a lot of the old quests and reputation grinds we know and love will be gone forever, or twisted so much that we hardly recognize them. With that in mind, even while their exact fate is up in the air, a lot of old achievements and titles seem much more urgent.
A lot of WoW bloggers, as a result, have been posting their bucket lists, a list of things they want to do in the Old World before the Cataclsym changes it for good, be it grabbing the Loremaster title or even leveling a character of the other faction just to see how their quests differ. For my own part, I've been inspired to start a bucket list myself. It's pretty simple, so far. The major thing is to finally finish getting my Druid Guardian of Cenarius. I'm also thinking my Death Knight could use Loremaster or Seeker. I'll probably also try to make sure my Death Knight gets all the old world raid bosses down, and I wouldn't mind getting an old school Ashkandi for him for fashion purposes.
Sure, we still have Patch 3.3 before Cataclysm, so it's not like we have to be in a big rush, but if you're after a title like Loremaster before Cataclysm, it may be a good idea to start now. What do you want to do or see in the old world before the curtain falls? What's your Cataclysm bucket list?
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will destroy Azeroth as we know it. Nothing will be the same. In WoW.com's Guide to Cataclysm you can find out everything you need to know about WoW's third expansion. From Goblins and Worgens to Mastery and Guild changes, it's all there for your cataclysmic enjoyment.

I think itll be kinda cool to see old world one more time but from a diffrent view even though i hated 1-60 in my hunter

Guess it's time to stop farming dailies, farming heroics, farming ore...
and start farming old quests. What makes it easier for me? I prefer to start conversations with the 2-3 other people also questing in random places like Feralas or Ashenvale in general chat. I also suggest doing some of these old quests with lowbies that are also out there doing them. It gives a strange warm feeling, and it's not like you need the xp or gold. Happy hunting. :-)

Be ironic if Cataclysm is released before 3.3
Deathwing and the Lich king to face off against. :O

It'd be like rain on your wedding day

That is not what irony means. Sorry to channel Ed Byrne here, but ironic would be if Arthas and Deathwing face off to fight for dominance of the world, but both of them in the battle die thus saving it from both of them.
To quote the Irishman, your example wouldn't be ironic, it would just be bleeding unfortunate.

Irony is like that castle in MacBeth when the King comes for a vist and says "wow, this is such a nice place." And instead it's really a den of evil because he ends up getting murdered there.

They could be allies! Lich King on Deathwing mount =0

It's ironic because the heroes (us, apparently) would be about to kill Lichy but he's saved by the cataclysm and the heroes (us, allegedly) have to return home instead to help put out the fires.
Then this big mother of a Dragon appears and eats us, Arthas laughs his head off, with his scourge army laughing with him (because they are him). Well, I can see the irony.

Re: Inconceivable use of the word "Ironic"
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

I think it would be ironic if we were all made of iron!

Loremaster, Seeker, Explorer, and Ambassador.
Also Champion of the Frozen Wastes, just need Oculus and HoL.
Ideally I would like to have those completed before Cataclysm.
James Sep 4th 2009 9:50AM
Ambassador, Seeker, Loremaster, Explorer can all be done at the same time.
I managed Ambassador by doing the starting zone quests and just following through. Really simple, nice grind. I always had quests and things to do.
I did Northrend / Outland / EK / Kalim in that order. Got ambassador at the beginning of Kalimdor and Seeker half way through Kalimdor.
Explorer is something you can easily pick up on the way.

I wonder if Blizzard will actually give an indication of what will become feats of strength in enough time to actually get those done before they go away or are forever changed.
SpaceGoatPriest Sep 4th 2009 9:05AM
As soon as the beta is out, the information will be flooded into sites like wowhead.com That will easily gives people at least a month or two (most likely more) to complete anything that will be "going away".

I want to get a Loremaster in each faction (at least of EK and Kalimdor). And that means a lot of work to do since all my horde chars are pretty low level...
Jyuu Sep 5th 2009 2:07AM
Diplomat, Loremaster, Seeker and Classic Raider. Very close on all of them, just need that last push. :)
Nick Sep 4th 2009 8:18AM
I uh, already have Loremaster, Seeker, Explorer, and Ambassador.
So my bucket list will be funded by farming up lots of the old world ores and herbs then eventually selling them to the noob worgens.
3-man Mammoth from Dalaran
3-man Mammoth from Sons of Hodir
Epic flying for my DK
75 non-combat pets
Bri Sep 4th 2009 8:19AM
Getting Crusader on a Horde and Alliance 80 on both accounts so I can have heirlooms ready to go.
DrDidg Sep 4th 2009 8:26AM
34 quests left in Kalimdor and pickings of what is left is getting awfully small. Found a few extras in Wintergrasp. I got EK done, and still finding lots over there. 700 on each continent is just a PITA.
