I went from a Night Elf Priest, named Freyal to a Troll Priest named Frejal (somehow I couldn't bring myself to keep the same name. Freyal had already been a strong supporter of her night elf bretheren.)
I now have 2 level 80 Horde priests, one whom is a blood elf the other a troll. While some people might not see the point in having 2 priests, much less 2 on the same faction it felt appropriate. I had rerolled horde and leveled up a 2nd priest. I got involved in a guild/community on the horde side. But I missed my main. I missed her gear. I missed her mounts, and her bank stuff I kept for fun. I just missed -her- as she felt like she had a distinctive personality my other priest simply didn't have.
I am on an RP server, but I never actively RP per say. My charchters though, do have their own backstories I make for them in my head. And I feel happy with my choice. Much happier than knowing I'd never play my main again because she was ally and I'd gone horde.
