Ditto, I can't seem to make it past level 30-ish.After coming from a warrior my entire life I can't seem to get into it very much.

the 20-45 is kinda painful on a mage. If you can make it past that point though the world is your oyster. at 45 id suggest switching to frost if youre primarily soloing as it is def the best solo spec.

I think the biggest thing that mages go through while leveling is the downtime. But as you level, you'll have to drink less, you'll get more powerful and have more toys. :D While I didn't think much of them when I first got them, molten armor and spellsteal have been useful and fun. While I've always enjoyed my mage, I really started to feel great about . . . lvl 58 maybe. In fact, being a mage is so addictive, I made a lowbie mage on another server for when my server is down. I know the tricks a bit more (such as . . . frost nova can save your life, or there are more spells than just fireball .. .) so it's more fun. But I wanted to see what it was like as a lowbie mage. As squishy and thirsty as they are, I find myself really enjoying myself.
