You think a priest is first target on a battleground? Try going tree as a druid. I dare you.

Druids actually have escape mechanisms.

His point wasn't that druids die easily, his point was that standing around as a walking tree is more of a "I'm a healer. KILL ME!" sign than any other thing you could do. Undead, blood elf, and troll shaman, paladins, and yes, priests, blend in much more.

I think you have to look at the bigger picture here:
Priests, at first glance can look like any other clothie. Become pretty noticeable when they start healing, you can really miss the animations for PW:S or penance, but can still go a while undetected by just standing at the back and healing but `laying low` so to speak (LoS when your not healing, stay a safe distance away from the enimies, but not too far away from your guys that they cant help out if you get in trouble).
Druids, in tree form they are incredibly easy to spot, especially if your not in WSG (sometimes the nelf artwork can blend the druid in). However, they also have a few more tricks for getting away than the priest, and their heals are less noticeable. If you can find a spoit where you can see your guys but the enimie cant see you, then the healing animations have got more chance of not being seen than three giant balls of holy critting goodness have. They can also stealth, which means that, whereas there is a chance the priest could be spotted straight away by mousing over everyone, druid dont suffer from this problem.
Shamans, are probably even more inconspicuous at first glance, maybe looking like warriors or paladins, and the single target heal is likel to go unoticed, as it has no `missile` like penance. But as soon as you start having to heal multiple people at a time, and pull out the laser chain, then everyone instantly knows that there is a shaman healer around. Although on the other hand, the chain moves pretty darn quickly/instantly so while the enemy may see the chain of love linking four people together, it can be quite hard to tell which one cast it.
Paladins, these blend in with the other 7 ret pala's on your WSG team, and can be extremely hard to spot.
In short, 3 healing classes are all pretty visable but in different cirsumstances. The other one can be hard to spot at first glance, but you'll notice that they are around when that mage your about to get the killing blow on goes from 12hp back up to 14k, then kills you. It'll be too late to do anything, but hey, atleast you'll know for next time :P

As a prot pally in pvp (fun fun :D) I usually avoid druid trees, if anything I stun them or slow them down and hit em a few times to get em to run the other way... then I book it myself.

Yes, let's blend in with the class that gets a big target because "ZOMGKEELEETBEFOREEETKEELSUS." It's enough to make me want to PvPaladin in a dress.
