@ Dave ... My main is a mage, I'm currently leveling a huntard (78), a disc/holy priest (73 atm), a DK tank (71) and a ret pally (65). Point being, yes, you don't get a /thank for a good dps job. Which is very important. Nevertheless, a well geared tank + a good healer are what carries most (note not all) encounters in my experiences... and are typically the cause of the most /fail comments. Typically by people who haven't played those roles (I'm not implying that you haven't), ... So ya, a bit of gratitude is always nice. And imho, that mostly should go to the tank/heal position (for one thing because for us who haven't had dual spec for a long time ... it was a bitch to level) ...
