Breakfast Topic: Your favorite lines of spoken dialogue

With so many iconic phrases, both breath taking and amusing, I'm interested to know what lines of dialogue stick with you and why. Is it the turn of phrase? The delivery? The context in which the line is spoken that adds to the drama or humor?
For me, it's all about Eadric the Pure. Pretty much every line of dialogue he gets in the Trial of the Crusader 5-man is amazing. Well acted, well scripted, with just the right balance between pomposity, noble righteousness and a sort of bemused sense of humor and enjoyment about the whole concept of the Argent Tournament. If I had to pick one line, it would be his final one: "I yield! I submit! Excellent work! May I run away now?"
Yes, you may Eadric. But please, come back again soon. You're awesome.

Grand Apothecary Putress:
Did you think we had forgotten? Did you think we had forgiven?
Behold, now, the terrible vengeance of the Forsaken!
Death to the Scourge! And death to the living!
Now, all can see this is the hour of the Forsaken.
I actually cheered when he did that lol

Always gives me the shivers...even after the, what...fifth time I've done that quest?

That was awesome, and reminds me of the newest iteration of Davros from the last series of Doctor Who:
"This is my ultimate victory, Doctor! The destruction...of reality...ITSELF!"

Because of this quote, I'll quit WoW doesn't come back somehow. He's just to epic to die in a pansy battle in the Undercity....

I love that part. It just gives me chills. Even though they're technically a rogue group that broke away from the Forsaken and aren't with Sylvanas anymore I still get this sense of Undead Pride if you know what I mean. Just the vengeance in his tone is so amazing to hear, and with all of them saluting...gah it's just epic.
That cutscene actually made me get back into my undead warlock who'd been sitting around for a while. :)

The whole questline at the end of MC's now-gone attunement, where you walk through Stormwind and confront Onyxia.
No moment in WoW has ever topped that, and it is one of the truly great losses in the game.
Redaurora Sep 9th 2009 8:44AM
That was really great I agree. I am so glad I got to join in that. What really makes it great is then run into Onyxia's lair and kicking her bottom.
Joe Sep 9th 2009 8:45AM
You think with all the phasing and stuff, they could fix it so that Lady Prestor and Bolvar would be in the keep till some in game story line happens and someone saves Wrynn. Then you can get your Ony ring and Varian would appear as Prestor is revealed. That would be epic, seeing the Dragon Mother called out then the King restored to his throne. Maybe have a quest chain where you go and The WoW Comic Gang go after Ony or something.

Nerves of thorium.
Firestride Sep 9th 2009 10:59AM
Yes, Joe, you would think they could do that.
Fung Sep 9th 2009 2:38PM
my absolute favorite is how during 'An End And A Beginning' while taking on now-lichified inigo montoya, the stormwind walk is referenced on characters that have completed it with an extra line
Highlor Bolvar Fordragon says: Good you see you still alive and kicking . Don't think that I'd forgotten what you did for me in Stormwind, oh so long ago.

It's gotta be "Time is Money Friend!" Which is only cool because of the way the goblins voice sounds!
brownyboi Sep 9th 2009 8:45AM
"Kel-Thuzad make Patchwerk his avatar of war!"
Still love it every time that I hear it.
CallMeIrd Sep 9th 2009 9:06AM
Ooh that one is so cool. I love the voice acting.
