EVE runs differently then wow on many many levels, having played both i would say the real reason you don't see a lot of complaining when CCP pushes back a patch is because the people that complain in EVE get killed off by other players. in EVE if someone steals your stuff or attacks you for no reason or runs a confidence racket or griefs you out of the game the CCP response will be "working as intended". you don't get hordes of casual alliance players mobbing horde in Dalaran to beat them up and steal their drops off their world first hard mode kill. That would be business as usual in EVE.the wow community on a whole is different from the EVE one.

No way, man. I was in Org, the alliance were attacking Thrall, I was there and THEY KILLED ME! FOR NO GOOD REASON!PvP happens in EVE as it happens in WoW. If player X gets killed, it's in a zone that PvP is allowed (in EVE words, "a low security space".)

2 comments:first, in EVE, while not recommended, it is entirely possible to gank people in high security space, whereas in WoW it is impossible to so much as touch someone who isn't PvP flagged.secondly, in WoW getting ganked by someone in PvP doesn't even cause the 10% durability loss, you just have to suffer a corpse run and get on with your life. in EVE, if your ship gets blown up, its gone for good, and if you get pod-killed you lose your implants, and possibly even skill points if you're too dumb to keep your clone updated
