Breakfast Topic: Shirt of choice

Out of all of the things we've broken down and discussed on this site, I don't think we've ever really dug into this one: what's your character's shirt of choice? The shirt slot on your character screen is really the last customization-only slot we've got left, ever since the tabards were allotted to earning reputation. So today's discussion topic is: what shirt do you have in there?
Unfortunately, the Shirt of Uber is only a PTR item, so no one is wearing it on the live realms, or else obviously that's what we'd all be wearing. The Epic Purple Shirt is probably a favorite since earlier this year, if you've been lucky enough to get the TCG code. I'd bet the Swashbuckler's Shirts are popular, and the Red Linen Shirt has always been one of my favorites. I'm sure the Tuxedo Shirt has its share of fans as well.
So what are you wearing underneath that armor? It'd be cool if Blizzard actually beefed up our choices there a bit -- maybe they could put stripes on the sleeve to show rank, or have some special color or model for people who have met certain achievements (and come on, a Three Worgen Moon shirt? I'd wear that). Then again, maybe it's better that the shirts stay pretty low key -- every other item on our character screen has gotten a purpose lately, so maybe we're better off wearing whatever shirt we want.

Also thug shirt. My main rogue had it originally, but ditched it along the way to 60. I started another UD rogue to get another one, then deleted him. An ignoble end I suppose. Brought into this world only to have the shirt literally taken off your back. Then promptly ended.

Horde can have Sanders Shirt. All they need is to go to Westfall grind murlocs until the quest item drops and do the short quest chain. There is your shirt. :)

Captain Sanders shirt was cooler back when less people knew about it. These days its kinda like goth/punk/emo... you're trying to be different but everyone's been there already.
If you wanna really be awesome wear Sawbone's shirt or Master Builders Shirt. location/Drop rates instantly make them more awesome.
I tend to wear the Deckhand shirt or the Earl z moade shirts on my Ally characters. Less people tend to wear those.
I also have a warders shirt on my Draenei hunter. It makes me giggle.

Taz'dingo!
Yes me too, my hunter (Troll of course) hasn't taken it off since she bought it.

On most of my Gnommers it's usually a Rich Purple Silk Shirt or the Doublet, although on my main Gnome it's the Green Holiday shirt. It's the only shirt that covers the neck and doesn't make female character look like Wet T-Shirt contestants.

A shirt and tabard are basically essential items for all my female toons. My main( human female rogue) makes shirts for all my alts.

I wear a sawbones shirt most of the time (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=14617).

Good man, likewise.
BooMsx Sep 10th 2009 8:12AM
Yeah i got sawbones too (got it after 30runs but it was worth it), goes along perfectly with rogue T2 i always carry around just for flex ^_^
ROB13 Sep 10th 2009 8:13AM
Is that a really cool shirt? Because it dropped once for me in Scholo and I just tossed it...
Ohh Green Lumberjack Shirt, how you make fishing worth it...
Darthregis Sep 10th 2009 10:05AM
Yeah, I wear Sawbone's Shirt. Should it be a badge of honour if we kill a guy and if that wasn't enough, go ahead and take his shirt, too?!
Fyve & Cringer Sep 10th 2009 12:17PM
Me too, seems approrpriate on my Hunter, a skinner and a leatherworker.

Until I get this or the Master Builder's shirt, I'll stick with the Stylish Black Shirt. As an Undead on a PvP realm, it wasn't easy to obtain, and it still looks great after several years.
csarcops Sep 11th 2009 6:42PM
Aye, me too.
Joe Sites Sep 10th 2009 8:06AM
My main, Troll Priest, wears the Sen'jin Doublet http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45669
Although, the various Lumberjack shirts are quite nice looking. They all have some nice plaid patterns.
Agerath Sep 10th 2009 8:09AM
Master builder's shirt, naturally.
