The interesting thing about
World of Warcraft for me is that it can create such feelings of loyalty, solidarity, faction pride, and sometimes,
raw, visceral, demonic hatred welling up from within. As an example, as an old school warrior player,
I despise the Cyclonian with every fiber of my being. Mind you, I loved the quest chain, it felt epic and I kept the sword forever and a day (might even still have it somewhere in that mess of a bank) but the
mob?
Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. I still stop whatever I'm doing and ride down to see if any warriors are trying to solo him whenever I'm anywhere near Southshore or Chillwind Point. And if they are, they suddenly find themselves assisted by a level 80 warrior
who wishes nothing more on earth than to kill that windbag!Seriously, kudos to Blizzard, you managed to make me hate a mass of pixels more than some people I've had reason to dislike over the years. If sentient whirlwinds ever manifest and begin speaking to us, they'd best do so
very far away from me.So this fine morning I ask you: what do you hate?

I never miss an opportunity to kick the Fel Reaver in the shins.

No doubt! I was helping a friend of mine in Hellfire last night do some lvl 61 quests. All of a sudden, I spotted him out of the corner of my eye, Mr. Happy Pants (as we loving call him). His roar used to send chills through me as it almost always meant I was about to die (who could fly at that time?).
So, I said, "Excuse me a moment, I have some taunting to do."
He went DOWN!

I'll never understand how the damn Fel Reavers got the drop on me so many times...

@Jim: Ask the Un'goro Devilsaurs...

I hate the devilsaurs so!
always sneaking up on you like some sort of a ninja
how can a thing that big sneak up to you so quietly
whenever i happen to be in un goro i satisfy myself by killing a devilsaur and then skinning the bastard!

Arazzius the Cruel
My blood spec death knight could not kill him when he first got the quest, and he killed my level 71 druid! In fact, while you're at it, I hate everything in the pools of Aggonar, I have not found any place harder for its level, even Hogger killed me less times then Arazzius...

The problem with the fel reaver is they don't play the sound from far enough out as he approaches. By the time it plays, he's about a second or so from the aggro range of the average L60.
That being said, whenver I'm killing stuff on his path, I've been making a point to scan the skyline every 5-10 seconds. My last character through there didn't get pwned by him, but rather by the half-dozen buzzards that ended up on them as I ran away from it... :|

First opportunity I had to face off with the Fel Reaver after my enhancement shammy turned 80, I solo'd his butt, and /yelled "THAT'S for stompin' my guildies!"
Then a thought occurred to me, and I immediately flew out to Nagrand and tore Durn's drooling face off. A passing lvl 66 asked me what quest I had been on, to kill Durn, and I told him it wasn't a quest, it was THERAPY.

I used to make special trips to Hellfire every other day just to drop the Fel Reaver on his ass! I'll say that the devilsaurs in Un'Goro are a close second, but I'll always find immense joy in dropping the Fel Reaver whenever possible.

Horde can solo the Azzarius quest. Just kill all the boars in the way and kite him to Thrallmar. Done it three times, lowest was a 63 without the quest lol.

Fel Reaver yea. I kill him once a week too. But what about the Fel Bear Reaver. And there is no way to get revenge on him. For those who didn't play the Beta

Just the squabbles between a certain king and a brown skinned orc

Yeah, now that you mention it, I hate Garrosh Hellscrean and his stupid face. What a baby.
Ricohardt Sep 11th 2009 8:23AM
Wrynn and Garrosh need to have a battle to the death.
Then kill the winner.
wave2oompy Sep 11th 2009 9:23AM
^ This.
traptinacivicsi Sep 11th 2009 10:04AM
I dunno, I did the Battle for Undercity again, just last night, and it was kind of cool fighting alongside him (though I wish it were Garrosh instead of Thrall he charges, Thrall is ok in my book)
But the way he spoke was kind of sliiiightly motivating, whereas anything Garrosh says is summed up to be 'PUNY HUMANS!! GARROSH SMASH FACE HARD WITH FISTS!'
Dementron Sep 11th 2009 12:06PM
Is there any way to rate Ricohardt higher than three stars? Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase?
Aaron Sep 11th 2009 8:08AM
Dust Devils in Westfall. :( Even at 80, I'll head down to Westfall just to mass kill them for a bit. /moon Dust Devil
SJPadbury Sep 11th 2009 10:36AM
Yeah, those always seemed to be a couple levels higher than anything else around them.
It was a major victory the first time me or my friend managed to take one down.
Now we make a point to try and kill a "Swirley" as we called them as early in the leveling process as possible, just as a way of trying to one-up each other.
