I don't really use this idea to gear up for raiding (that's still just kind of silly). Getting a full set of PVP gear brought me up to being able to do Heroic's which I then farmed for emblems of conquest. Those emblems get you the gear to start raiding.

I prefer to not get laughed at with my resil gear in Nax.
