Just out of curiosity, for those players AFKing in AV, do they stop getting exp too when theyre flagged for afk? Dont think its fair for them to leech free exp, but wasnt sure if reporting them afk would also stop the exp gains.
And if it doesnt, whats the difference of exp if ur helping kill Galv and take towers/GYs etc. compared to the AFKers standing idle? Is it more exp to help out on offense or can they get the same amount of exp not doing anything?

AFKing is bad. You get more honor by participating (IE your team wins more often)

Actually it does, xp gain from battlegrounds is based on honor recieved. If you report them afk, they won't recieved honor and thus no xp.

That's the thing though. Most people are afking AV not for honor now but for exp gains which is raid wide

@Feor
The XP gain at the end, if your side wins, might be but the gains from Towers taken or Galv being killed are a flat rate based on level. I believe it can be milked regardless of effort put in.
