Good guess.

I've been thinking they will do something to make noise when Aion is about to launch. They did something last year when WAR was coming out.

There should be some kind of promotion for the magazine in store. They know what butters their bread. Mini pets are just that kind of incentive.

There was a stuffed Murloc called "Kwurky" at BlizzCon. One of the admins on WarCraftpets.com thought it might be the pet for subscribing to the magazine.
