Tuesday Morning Post: Philosophy Edition

I don't know what was in the air this week, but it seemed like everyone was doing a little philosophizing around the WoW webosphere. Chief among those, of course, was Ghostcrawler, who waxed eloquent about community reactions to balancing and the reasons for killing off 2v2 arena. We got into too, with Adam wondering if Blizzard's just a little too secretive,
There's plenty more armchair quarterback philosophy where that came from, and you'll have plenty of time to experience it all, with downtime lasting... Wait. There is no downtime. But hey, it's cool. If you're stuck at work or school with no access to WoW, you might still like to browse. Here's our usual tuesday morning list of news and navelgazing:

While warlocks & the warlock column will consider their rival always to be mages due to them both being cloth/pure dps, I always take the RP/non mechanics point of view as a Paladin seeing warlocks as our polar opposite.
Of course what both classes fail to learn the best way to use schools of magic is to slap it on the end of your weapon of choice and smack the crap out of the unfortunately n/pc to get in the way, one day they'll learn I'm sure...

Not so much our ties as pure cloth caster dps... More the fact that Warlocks are just Mages who know how much better Demonic power is, and have decided to harness it. The Mages are just the losers we left behind. They've had it in for us for some time... Some crap about impurity and demonic taint...
So every now and again, we take the time out to purge the world of one more prissy little anti-demonic spellflinger. Man up and start summoning Demons. Everybody knows they're better.

Warlocks are the Delta fraternity of Mage school. Up all night partying with Succubi when we should be studying.

@ macster
If that's the case, then you should best be very afraid of Bluto (John Belushi) the Warlock when they take the bar away.
