Way back when I was a clueless lowbie Alliance player playing with my spouse (I'm a Horde raider now) we did the whole Duskwood quest chain that culminated in the appearance of Stitches. But of course we didn't know that. We'd both gone into the little shed off to the side of the graveyard to turn in a quest to the old man in there, and then we just kind of dawdled around, talking and not really paying attention to what was going on. We turned to leave the shed and there was this...THING...standing outside waiting for us. Literally *right* outside! It filled our vision completely. "Holy @#$%!" I yelled. "What the hell is *that*!" Scared the you-know-what out of both of us. We made a token effort to fight back, but of course Stitches pretty much immediately got the best of our clueless lowbie butts. To this day, whenever I'm in Duskwood I look for Stitches, and when I see him, I kill him. But that will always be one of my more memorable WoW experiences.Killing Illidan for a server first was nice, too. :D

One of my more memorable encounters was with Stitches as well. One day on my tiny warlock I logged into the game. I had left her somewhere on the road in Duskwood, and... I managed to log in right on top of Stitches! Who instantly attacked me, ofcourse. Luckily for me, a whole crowd of people happened to be gathered there, it was right at the crossroads where the little camp is. I guess they were accompanying him to Darkshire, and they all attacked as soon as Stitches had aggro'd because of me. I'm not sure if I survived or not, but I remember proudly looting Stitches' Femur afterwards, haha :)Another one of my favorite moments was my first PvP encounter. I had never done much PvP and was a little apprehensive about it, and to throw myself in the deep I had made a new warlock alt at a PvP server. And lo and behold, my first day in Ashenvale I have my first encounter. An alliance rogue sneakes up and attacks me. The level difference was big, he was red to me. And since rogues are often pretty much unbeatable for locks unless you get lucky with your fears and such, I thought I was dead. I didn't even have the Insignia of the Horde yet to get out of stuns. But to my great surprise, I OWNED him..! And thought to myself mmkay, maybe I'm not so bad at PvP after all..! (but, realistically, it was probably a very VERY noobish rogue hehe)
