About time of patch 2.3 I dinged 70. Without knowing anything about endgame I was confused as usual. I've been doing PvP for while while leveling and I liked it and horde usually won most of the games. Then I went to 70 pvp and did dailies. Needless to say I got sick of that after while and almost quit the game again. Got tired of being free HK, melee food( (full S2 set at the time since it was honor bought in 2.4(?)), they even lose to this day 90% of the games.. most people even did those "losing premades for fast marks" back in the day.
Then some random guy asked would I want to come to kara with guys from same country as me. Needless to say again, I loved it. Feeling of 10 people working together. Being in CC duty, doing dps, getting loot and feeling I did something good as "downing boss" really made me realise how amazing PvE and specially raiding was with right people. I started running kara with them from time to time and quit pvp for good. Later I got into Zul'aman, gruul, maggie etc. Never again I started being melee food in pvp. Now I'm in guild thats doing regular raids and doing great (cleared all content in 10mans) and we are having fun with that too. I think thats the reason I still play for this day, having fun with people and respecting classes PvE abilites instead of being facerolled down by some spitting asshat "flavor of the year" and stressing about it.
