Happened Late Sat night/early sunday morning this past labor day weekend.

I was on the lvl 80 hunter alt, roaming around Storm Peaks skinning stuff trying to find at least 1 arctic fur.

Was by the abandoned mine across from the cradle of the Iron giant. had just skinned a jormunger and bamm... Skoll re-spawns right in front of me.

I dropped a ice trap and hit Skoll with a concussive shot.. Crap, still had the bear tank out!! Cannot tame the booger. Put bear on passive and ran like a scalded dog. I finally feign death and aggro is wiped.

Used the pet cage and stowed the bear away. Ok, all good. Am going to tame Skoll now. drop ice trap, pop him with a concussive shot, and start the tame. He jumps over/misses the ice trap.. Ohmigod.. forgot to heal up!! It's a race between my health and the channeling of the tame.

Tame channeling completes, he starts to move to my side, and the delayed part of his last spirit attack kills me.

Did I get him..? Oh crap.. at Cemetary, spirit rez. No pet. Oh no.. wait.. use the pet whistle, and the big old electric wolf pops into view as Le Pet. Feed him some worm meat, as I have plenty. Once he goes happy.. jump up and dance around the room. woot.. woot. woot.

Most epic WOW moment ever..
