Around Azeroth: The dreamer and the thinker
Erik writes that while trying to solo The Plume of Alystros and "getting his face ripped to shreds from his futile attempt", he happened to glance over at Ysera's napping area. Usually, the glade is full of a giant translucent dragon, but since Erik was dead, he was able to snap a clear screenshot of the giant statue that serves as the Dreamer's perch. It looks like a lot of people have noticed the statue, but no one is quite sure who or what it is. I vote for a bald-headed Brock Samson. What do you think, loremeisters?
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, gold seller ads with deadgnomes any race at all, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

My first though was that it was an image of the Titan that gave Ysera her powers, but that one's female: http://www.wowwiki.com/Eonar
So instead I'll say it's something/one Dream-related.
Lemons Sep 18th 2009 1:31PM
Eonar is a chick? That makes that moaning yell she doesn in Uld even hotter...
Lemons Sep 18th 2009 1:37PM
Er...the "she" being Freya...

One of the early earthen? It's right in line with the path of the Titans, and looks like a mix of a stone and a flesh golem.
banebreak Sep 18th 2009 12:00PM
either that or his area-wide yell is going to be "HEY DUM DUM, YOU GIVE ME GUM GUM"
