If something so trivial pushes you away from the game, then you're overreacting.Class balance in raids is still extremely important, and it has always gone far beyond buffs such as Gift of the Wild and Power Word: Fortitude. But it is a well-known fact that in most ten-man raids, 11th and 12th men are typically added when their buff is required, and they are left to simply stand outside dishing out buffs after wipes. That is a sign of a broken system. There's a lot of good reasons to have a priest in your raid..Fortitude machine shouldn't be one of those reasons. As for homogenization..it's a mixed bag and always has been. But it is hardly as rampant as some claim. Most class specialties are still the same today as they were when the game was released. It's just now, they're not completely gimped when forced outside of that specialty. It has prevented the situations that occurred in the past where certain classes couldn't even get invites to certain raids because their specialty wasn't needed. It might be just me, but that kind of change is a good thing, isn't it?
