Maintenance for Tuesday, September 22nd already announced

What does this early announcement mean? To be fair, it could just mean that they already know they're going to need some extra maintenance time to make up for the complete lack of maintenance last Tuesday. Of course, they could also be planning to push out Patch 3.2.2. Don't take my word for it though, I am 100% just going off a gut feeling. We've been a while without a patch, after all.
Just in case, you'll probably want to start reading up on Patch 3.2.2 now, and when maintenance day gets here, you'll have plenty to read right here on WoW.com while you wait for your server to come up, or for news on whether or not we're going to see the patch.

Well, I was really hoping to get my lvl 78 rogue to 80 before 3.2.2, so I could experience Fan of Knives in all its original glory. Sigh - I don't think I have enough time to get her the rest of the way before Tuesday. So it goes!

I like FoK'ing people all the time. I FoK in raids. I FoK in pvp. I FoK rodents from time to time. What can I say? FoK'ing feels good.

Actually be happy you didn't get a chance to enjoy FoKing things over and over again in a dark room in its original form, the cooldown it had really made FoKing far less enjoyable. Although I'm betting those on the receiving end liked it more.

I'm still trying to get my priest's Tier2 Hat before 3.2.2 breaks the set. 4 attempts so far since 3.2.2 announced, warrior and saman each time. Wtf?

You mean tuesday, tomorrow is monday.
And here's to hoping that WoW.com actually posts some news or w/e during the maintenance and not when its over.

Noah, tomorrow is actually Wednesday believe it or not.
I suppose I should go run Onyxia on my hunter tonight then. I want that level 60 helm so I can work on my tier 2 set.

It will be this Tuesday for one simple reason: Aion releases on the same day.
Blizzard loves to drop patches on its competition's release days. Aside from the fact that Blizzard does maintenance on Tuesdays (So it's only natural patches would happen then), and that many new video game releases often happen on Tuesdays, Blizzard also has a history of patching on the day of or near the release of competing products. Also, of all the recent MMO releases, Aion has the most potential and Blizzard knows this (Whether you agree with this last part or not is a matter of taste, I understand, but I could also point to the excellent numbers Aion has been able to attain in Asia, along with the impressive preorder numbers seen on Steam, D2D, and Gamestop).
My guess is it will be on Tuesday.

The only impressing thing about that Korean copycat of "animé" travesty is the lying about their subs numbers which is .... legendary.
Lineage 2 had a supposed 4 M eastern players when it launched 4 years ago. Well, they now have 50K western subs. The latest Korean female boyscout had a so callde supposed 3.5 M players, problem is NCsoft only spoke of 1.5 M officially but unofficialy spread the false rumour of 3.5.
Not one official statement can be found of those millions from NCsoft, but the lying machine spread itself.
The same with those so called pre release figures. Aion doens't even hold a candle in presales compared to both War and AoC. Both these games had around 500 to 600K on launch day.
These reasons alone make it impossible to me to even look at the Korean copycat industry. It is simply a lying machine searching to grab money in a translated Korean text box.
And - as should be - the game will not even be in the neighbourhood of AoC and War initial sales.
It is a disgusting product with terribly bad gameplay. The morons that go for it don't deserve better.

Why are you so damn mad? Aion has at least 400k preorders. And I could not find any sources for your WAR or AOC preorder numbers. Official press releases from both companies made no mention of 500k or 600k preorders. So any sources to back up any preorder numbers or the conspiracy theory about L2? Or just something you made up to add to your rant of Aion?
