No need to make Drunken Stupor complicated if you have a flying mount. You can just dispell your flying mount above water and you can fall just about forever and take no damage. Well, you gotta land IN the water, but other than that, nothing to it.
It can be a fun way to liven up some quests, for example, "A Worthy Weapon" has a circle of hyacinths in the water that make a handy target :)

Doubtful. I assume this works the same way as "Going Down," in that it doesn't count if you land in water.
BTW, I got "Going Down" after accidentally falling off the top of Whisper Gulch, just north of Westguard Keep in Howling Fjord.

Didn't work for me. I had to fall onto land to get the achievement.

Yeah, I was wrong, you gotta land and take damage. I did it jumping off of the Scryer elevator. You gotta jump at an angle, to land on the main pavement, not the bridge (to high) or Lower City (you die).
The Synthebrew Goggles did count as "being drunk" though.
