My first end game character was a
Tauren Hunter. It was also the first character I created. When I made him, I didn't know much about the races, starting zones, or characterization quirks. The Tauren care for the world around them and hesitance when it comes to the battle. They're a calm and steady race that, while powerful in battle, prefer peaceful methods in their balance with nature and the elements. While that may be nice for a while, I've come to enjoy the mysticism and voodoo of the
Trolls. From putting heads in cauldrons to get dead men to speak their awful truths to offering advice on not cutting off body parts to get them to regenerate bigger, they've offered an interesting and sick sense of humor that I enjoy. Also, the
crit strike bonus to bows wouldn't be all that shabby either.
With the
race changes announced and
apparently on the horizon (aka: '
soon'), as well as the
race/class combinations coming in
Cataclysm, what race would you change to if you had the opportunity? Voting after the break.

I would so switch my Dranei Mage to a Night Elf Mage, Something about being an exiled one coming back to the people who cast her out seems so appealing. hehe....

I also look forward to switching my Human mage to Night Elf. I love the idea of using the power of the moonwell for more than making mooncloth. When I started WoW I read a quote about being a Human in RL and in an MMORPG would beome boring, and after this much time I agree it's stretching thin, I do want more fantasy elements in my chars and Night Elves have a romantic aura.

I will also be flipping my Draeni Mage to a Night Elf Mage. I love the idea of being "outcast." It's why I loved being Moonkin for so long (at least until they changed to so the game is now festering with them).
I'm torn between a total re-roll or a change. On one hand, I'd love to explore Teldressil from the POV of e Night Elf *Mage* but on the other, I finally *finally* got a Draeni out of the bloody start zone...

As my main is a druid, I'll have to wait until Worgen arrive. But then I'd change in a heartbeat (if I can, there is some confusion as to whether you can race change to worgen and gnomes).
If I cant race change, ill roll a fresh one. Maybe i will roll a fresh one anyway, as everyone else LOL.
I'd change my hunter to human if possible.

I'm waiting for Cataclysm and the coming race changes there, such as troll druid and tauren priest. I'm very interested in making my tauren druid a troll druid and my BE priest into a tauren priest. We'll see how it works out though.

I made a Male Tauren Shaman once as a joke, since I was playing alliance at that time because I didn't know better and my irl friends were alliance, then we "Rolled" Alts on the horde side. I fell in love with the Horde and got the shaman to level cap....twice, then I rolled a Female Tauren Druid because she was "Smaller" well now I'm sick of having to dismount to get into the Undercity. So Troll it tis mon!

Troll druids are amazing. I was hesitating to faction change my NE druid to horde, but with trolls now available, I'll be doing da voodoo shuffle all day long.

Trolls have to dismount to get though the elevator doors in the Undercity too, unless you're riding on a wolf.

I love my gnome to death, but the KoS has got to stop! Corpse runs are beginning to bore me. I'm a lock, so I can pretty much go... human. Like WoW needs one more human. Oh well, the rep grind will be a bit better. Thanks for nothing hordies. :) /love
