And are they ever going to lower the cost of epic flying? You know, to maybe 2k or 3k? (Less would be even better, considering they lowered Expert to 200-some gold, but I'm trying to be reasonable here.)

Yeah, we'll lower the cost of every other type of riding/flying, in an effort to make it where you don't have to save as much money, then hit you with a 5000g bill if you want the best flying in the game. Geez.

There is no reason to lower Artisan Flying - it's not a need, it's an option. If you don't want to raise the 5k (and making money is so easy now that no one should have a problem raising it), don't buy it. Even when TBC came out, raising 5k wasn't really much of a challenge - now it's a joke.

It doesn't matter when its announced, there will always be people who complain about it.

They announce it a week before it drops - QQ from the people who bought it in the week prior
They announce it a month before it drops - QQ from the people who bought it in the week/month prior
They announce it a year before it drops - QQ from the people who bought it in the year prior AND QQ from the people who can't be arsed waiting that long.
