Can't say that that isn't the type of thing that I'd do. In game or irl. It's a game. These people shouldn't be depending on you like little children. You don't owe them anything, they are in the guild because they want to be there. I don't recall a guild leader having to file for adoption of all of the members. They'll cope and they'll get on fine without you - definately not worth messing your head up about
