...and you can't play WoW either because maintenance is smack in the middle of your prime play time.
Sucks.
Damnit Blizzard, I want +-48 days a year back that I lose here!
Oh well, at least I can get laundry done tonight.
People always avoid me for a week when WoW skips maintenance and I can't figure out why.

I dont think it is Maintenance anymore... I think it is when they take the realms down and everyone jumps on Ghost Crawlers Yacht and they play with their iPhones...

Usually I'd be playing Dungeons and Dragons Online now that it's free to play and running dungeons with my Cleric but... My girlfriend has convinced me that today is a good day for US time. No PC in sight today.

... Okay, I'll admit, I've only been playing WoW for 6 months or so, but... Isn't there maintenance pretty much every Tuesday? I mean, there's a column on WoW.com called something like "Tuesday Maintenance Post". How is having something that happens pretty much every week... happen this week... unlucky?
You're lucky when there is no maintenance. Not unlucky when there is.

I've only been watching a few months too, but there's a few types of maintenance and some of them do.
None: YAY!
Short: No big thing; usually lasts a couple hours but done before the shakes set in. :p
Normal: Also no big thing, but runs an extra hour.
Extended: Oh, Blizzard. What did you do now. Runs an extra three hours and folks start getting bored and annoyed.
PATCH DAY. Nuff said.
The last two can be considered to be unlucky, though totally expected.

Yeah. I mean... I understand a lot of people get screwed by maintenance, but I doubt that any of them are 'surprised' by it at this point, or feel that they're unlucky when it happens, after 5 years of doing pretty much the same thing. :p
