I love doing stuff like this from time to time. I draw the line at begging (it's too bloody easy to make gold in this game) but I don't mind helping out a lowbie if I have the time. I love ideas like playr-generated quests; standing in Bloodhoof Village or Thunderbluff and hiring people to do simple gathering quests for me. Light feathers, or small eggs, or whatever. Lowbies get better-than-vendor prices (10 silver an egg, maybe?) and I get something I can actually use. Win-win.

Back in Vanilla, when you couldn't farm mobs at level cap for light feathers, this was how I kept my priest stocked. Whenever I ran low, I'd head to westfall and offer 5x vendor price for stacks of light feathers until I had enough to last me a while. Lowbies got more gold than they could farm easily, and I got my reagents at a fraction of AH price.
