For fast ToT switching mid-combat, I actually use 2 macros. The first is a mouseover blind macro that I use to quickly set my focus target. It obviously doesn't cast the blind on a friendly target :)

#showtooltip Blind
/focus [target=mouseover]
/stopmacro [target=mouseover,noharm][target=mouseover,dead]
/cast [target=mouseover] Blind
/p %f has been blinded. DO NOT TOUCH!

The 2nd macro is the actual tricks macro:

#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade
/cast [target=focus]Tricks of the Trade
/stopmacro [nogroup]
/p *** Tricks of the Trade ***

On another note, I'd like to recommend the mod TrickorTreat for all rogues interested in using Tricks regularly (which should be all of us!)

It sends whispers back and forth without having to build it into your macro, and it will also tell you how much extra damage you did based off the 15% buff. Very useful for knowing how well you're timing the ToT synergy with cooldowns and energy pooling.

i did go to look at Tricks, but as it is no longer being maintained and is several patches behind, i would not expect it to remain viable for long.
