I don't see this change as a boost to Elemental AE.You would have to run into melee range and drop ToW, then do the nova thing at point blank, or run back out.

It is huge!Imagine for a moment you are 5 multiboxed Shamans, guarding a node in Alterac Valley. Your strategy is to drop all your totems in preparation of the 10 alliance that are running your way, thinking to steamroll you off the flag you are guarding. They get close to you and BAM, Thunderstorm->Fire Nova, all 10 alliance instantly killed.Such is the power of multiboxing shamans. By the way, have you seen what 5 fire nova totems do as they are right now? They still wreck in PVP quite well, especially when timed with 5x Thunderstorms. I've wiped many alliance groups before. You can watch me http://justin.tv/multiboxing in a couple hours to see some live video of 5x Shamans doing fire novas in AV.

You know how awesome AE is when you have to spend 3-5 seconds running in, dropping a totem, and running back out?PVP is meh. You can't cast that while stunned, silenced or dead.

The boost is that we will be able to buff the raid with Totem of Wrath... AND... AOE at the same time. We won't be forced between lowering our DPS to buff the raid... or screwing over the raid to bump up our DPS with AOE.It's massive and something the shaman community has been asking for (in some form) for quite a long time. Now, if they get around to making ToW scale, shaman will be all set!

The thing is though, of the Shaman community, the vast, vast majority of us DO NOT MULTIBOX SHAMAN. Saying "this is durr awesome for multibox shaman" is ridiculous. We don't care. It is a PVP nerf to any normal player of any of the 3 specs since a PVP enh is going to give up talents in enh to get into ele for it and likewise for resto. It was one of the few things that given a little luck bought us enough breathing room to not be swarmed and killed. Not to mention is extremely fun to use against impatient rogues.
