WoW Moviewatch: Chronicle of the Annoying Quest Ep 32
This post is running a little behind the times, as Chronicle of the Annoying Quest: Ep 32 has actually been out for a little while. This is the beginning of the final season for the Chronicle, a final send-off of the plots, characters, and gags that have been running for 31 previous videos.
I want to take a moment and point out the immense amount of time, consistency, and effort displayed by the crew of the Chronicle of the Annoying Quest. The dedication they've shown to this series has been absolutely amazing. It can be incredibly difficult creating and authoring with Chronicle's consistency, not to mention the amount of work and organization that must go into keeping track of this much video inventory. The team are probably very proud, and they absolutely should be.
My favorite bit of this video is, as usual, the characterization of the Blood Elf. I know, it's shallow, but they nail it exactly on the head. Every time I see a belf do that hip-cock head-tilt thing, that's pretty much exactly the voice I hear in my head.

I adore Steffi! She's just so...cute. I'm hoping we get to see Goliath and Vlada again though. I rather loved his "I no CRASH SHIP!" and his constant womanizing.

Steffi is adorable, though it's hard for me to play my Belf without picturing her talking like that. I hope we get to see Vlada and Goliath again too. Favorite episode was the great lift.

The voice-acting... It's like I can hear them all talking over vent!

It's genuine, and terrible, but oh boy is it genuine.

Speaking as someone who knows the cast and crew, you're definitely on the money there.

Not having seen a single one of the previous 31 (really?!?!?!???) episodes, I have to admit the story and the characters didn't do much for me.
The fact the orc's tusks poke through his helm's faceplate when he spoke did make me lol irl though. ;)

That opening was really long, what with needing to introduce all of the characters, but the variety of voices and the quality of the recording were pretty fun. :)
That being said though, if there were any doubt at all I was completely won over near the end:
"I can't believe you had parachutes. Who ARE you, Lupin the 3rd?"
That wins so hard. :D
