I haven't personally noticed any difference. Since 3.2.2 I've blinked backwards. I've blinked 2 yards and stopped for no reason I could notice. I've blinked 20 yards ahead just as it's supposed to. In short, it appears to me to be "working" as it always has. I haven't actually tried blinking through non-wall solid objects yet, but without knowing about the fix it wasn't something I'd ordinarily try.
Oh, as an aside, the first poster missed a rather glaring sign of the coming apocalypse on a par equal to (or even greater than) blink being fixed. Vanish is being fixed.
