About two years ago, I switched jobs. I had about two months in between where I was not working, and (for obvious reasons) couldn't do anything that really costs money. So I played Alterac Valley. 16 hours a day. For two months.

It was the best vacation I've ever had, and after about two weeks, people on the battlegroup would /wave at me at the beginning of matches. Even more surprising, people started listening to me in /bg chat and we won a lot more often.

It's funny, because after I started the new job, I really didn't play that character anymore. Mage, name is Jafari, from the Vengance battlegroup, Burning Legion. I think he's level 77 or so now, still wearing his season 1 gear.
