when i think dwarf shaman, I think of the quest where you get to control the 5 iron dwarf shamans which was an obvious shoutout at multi-boxing. So when it comes to the totems, i was hoping for something black and blue that reflected the iron dwarfs more with a touch of Ironforge thrown in there to make it more... WoW ... but just a weird hammer with wings and a feather? Time for some fans to start pumping out the fan art :D it's not too late to change their minds

They're based off the Wildhammer clan, a group of Dwarves who are part of the Alliance and practice Shamanism.

I guess you didn't play Warcraft II or III.
See, back in that day? People saw a dwarf on a gryphon flinging lightning covered warhammers. It wasn't until WCIII that they also were riflemen and artillery units. And even in WC III there was the hammer flinging gryphon riders.
