I'm sorry you didn't mention the other great mage level 20 tradition: Begging your friends, guildies, random strangers in Org for an at-level run or boost in SFK for the Robes of Arugal.This fine and noble tradition is not what it used to be before the advent of heirlooms, but for many it's still a rite of passage. Since my guild friends were kind enough to do this for my mage back in the day, I volunteer my 80's time for any guild lowbie who wants them so they can feel, ever-so-briefly, powerful and special.(Feeling special until they show up in Hillsbrad and see almost every other 20-something caster wearing them too.)
