I kept it around as an 80. It's surprisingly useful, even in instances - I've used it to lead guildies back to the rest of the raid, to scout ahead to see if an area has been cleared or a boss has respawned, and to bring my imp back after a jump (it being faster to cast Kilrogg than to resummon).
