The first thing that came to mind is something I've actually done before.. Using a trial account to start a level 1 character, dualbox warcraft, and start a raid with my main account and the level 1 toon to get certain achievements.. for example, some of the fishing oneslike "Deadliest Catch". But that's really got to be a rarity..

I sometimes form a raid on my 80 mage to port my own low level alts to Dalaran (on the same account). I don't think that's hurting anything, though. It just saves time.

It's likely a fix to an exploit, don't expect any more information about it.

Possibly the goldsellers use of dozens of lvl 1s to litter the capital cities with their url.

What the hell man? Don't you have any friends who will join a raid with you while you do that?

there is no raid needed for these actions ...fyi
