Warcraft's twitter becoming more active

Among the tidbits were announcements like that there will be upcoming pet changes in 3.3 for hunters to watch out for, the Icecrown dungeon and raid preview, the new edition of the Gadgetzan Times, and the lore behind Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner and Lady Jaina Proudmoore. For those on the US realms, they linked up a poll on the forums asking, "What's the coolest part of being the Lich King?"
They linked to a heavy metal World of Warcraft song by The Last Successor. They're a power/progressive metal band out of Beijing, China. While it might not necessarily be your cup of tea, it is at least worth a listen.
Also linked were several pieces of fan art including:
- What our bags should really look like
- Fishing in Zangarmarsh beneath the mushroom caps
- Life sized paper Frostmourne, the dread weapon of the paper Lich King
- Custom 3D rendered Orc including hand created textures.

Thanks for the link to The Last Successor WoW Metal!!!!
It is my cup of tea and it was great to hear something new- even though that Fear-Factory-ish style has been around for a while, they certainly have their own original tweaks. What I really love about it is the beautiful melodies and vocals in the chorus, it's something you only get from that classic Chinise epic love song style that you just don't have in Western music. The incorporation of the WoW intro theme and also the gameplay audio was awesome. Would love to have heard slightly grind-ier, darker, Parkwaydrive-esque vocals in the verses, but that's just me being picky. A perfect combination of traditional Chinese and modern progressive. WoW!! Please Sir..... Can I have some more? P-p-p-please Sir..!

I personally find the Blizzard Twitter accounts totally insufferable.. I just want news and updates and maybe a few questions they have to ask for quick feedback, not all the random "FOR THE HORDE" "FOR THE ALLIANCE" and the constant barrage of goddamn retweets and fanart.

check "Justin (sh**mydadsays)" it'll make you feel better. One of my guildmates just introduced me to it. And if you can't figure out what to replace "**" with, you shouldn't be looking at it- there's some colorful language.
I swear though, it's the best thing about twitter & it really takes the edge off of battlegrounds if your battlegroup isn't that good :)
Ah, our elders finally passing down useful pearls of wisdom for the next generation ^_^
