In regards to: "We are so focused at DPS that we are completely helpless in every role besides pure damage. A rogue cannot off tank an add in a pinch...."
This might have brought up in the comments (didn't read through every last one) but... I'm not in a "elite" raiding guild so sometimes sh*t happens. Obviously a Rogue can't handle large amounts of damage over extended periods of time (we are squishy and CoS/Evasion have VERY limited durations. Oh yea, and we are NOT designed to be tanks). Yet on multiple occasions my Rogue's brief forays into the world of tanking has saved my group from wipes. Sometimes all you need is those few seconds to save a healer from a rogue (hehe) add or keep the boss busy until a class more capable of "tanking" takes over.
It is quite possible that you meant that Rogues can't tank for extended periods of time but for anyone new to the class I felt the need to clarify that on occasion Rogues can at times save the day with their Rogue Tanking ;)
