I've never had stealth fail spontaneously, only when I'm spotted. That's why Blizz gave us Distract and made sure all mobs eyes are on the FRONT of their heads.

Lol. Nope. Boss comes over and thwacks you whether you're vanished or stealthed.
Actually, no. I do this as a matter of course -- assuming of course Vanish isn't on cooldown because I've been aggressive about using it as an offensive cooldown.

True enough, because if you don't - you'll find your lifespan is very short.
Truth. Absolute truth. A rogue in the shadows with his cooldowns up is a god. A rogue in the open is a target.

Roll a rogue, educate yourself.

Better yet: Roll a rogue and *enjoy* yourself.
