I worked in a court room (computer tech for the clerks). And sadly, things like this (people trying to sue someone for insulting them on the tubes) did get put on the civil docket all the time. The result however was always the same. The defense (who usually hasn't even been discovered and is being represented by a public defender in the interest of the forum owner) has their motion to dismiss for failure to allege material misrepresentations read, the judge grants it, and then orders the Plaintiff to pay court costs and legal fees.
Basically, if you really are stupid enough to file a complaint over a forum post the end result will be you will end up owing $75-$250 in court costs plus $200+ in legal fees just to waste 10 minutes of valuable court time because Serve and Hardwood aren't real people and thus cannot be hurt by words.
