The Hallow's End Horseman will be ready for you

We've been getting a few queries from you readers lately about the upcoming Hallow's End holiday (it starts this Sunday) and what's new, but honestly, we haven't heard anything solid yet. You can assume that the usual festivities will be happening, so you can definitely plan to run the Horseman and go around getting your candy, but if anything else is new, we haven't heard it for sure yet. There is one tidbit -- Bornakk has confirmed that, like Coren Direbrew, the Horseman will be set for level 80s. And we can assume that means that there will be some new loot to obtain as well. But other than that, anything else that goes down for Hallow's End this year will be a surprise.
Not that we won't tell you about it -- of course we'll have coverage up as soon as we see anything new, and if you need help getting any of the achievements or quests done, we'll have help for you there, too. Just a few days left until our favorite holiday in the game -- can't wait!

I'm excited, Hallow's End is one of my favorite WoW holidays. I hope they don't raise the drop rate on the Horseman's Reins though, I'm on a low pop server and still somehow everyone and their alt has one from last year.

Last year, I was only off of the achievement by one pet. Just the pet. I trick or treated every hour for a WEEK and I still didn't end up with the achievement.

Same with me -- ran the horseman and trick or treated constantly and never got that squashling, even after they supposedly raised the drop rates. Never got any heart candies too. Ended up taking the laptop with me going out with the wife over the weekend so I could still check while at the hotel most every hour. Gave up after that. It's stupid pink anyways -- I'd never ride it now that I've seen it.

I completely feel your pain. I trick-or-treated constantly and then every hour for the last 12 hours ( yes, I know) of Hallow's End last year. That squashling is the only thing keeping me from my shiny purple drake.

Id say the rewards will be attuned so I'm guessing the plate helm will be there as well as the rings. Im trying to remember what else dropped besides those, the mount and the pet.

The plate helm was the other - you got that. Then there's the blue pumpkin head.

Several rings also dropped from him last year, though I think they were PvP rings. Whatever they are, they will most likely be duplicates of badge/honor items currently available. Pretty good if you have a slot or two that's missing a purple name.
Incidentally, I've been sporting my "Hallowed" title since last year :)
(no horse, though)

Actually, Hallow's End ends on October 31st this year, as per the in-game calendar. November 1st and 2nd being Day of the Dead instead.

I'll be honest here. This meme has been going on for less then a month, and it's starting to feel the test of time. I can't go anywhere anymore without seeing on of these comments.
On topic, let's hope the Horseman will drop some cloth this year! Because honestly, rings are not enough for this hungry lock!
