It doesn't hurt to add pets to your healing grid, even if it's just to let them benefit from a wild growth now and then. I play a resto druid AND a hunter, and until I had a hunter I never even considered throwing a heal on hunter pets. Now that I know how symbiotic the relationship is between hunter/pet I'm a lot more sympathetic.
I still don't res pets tho.
