This isn't really a good example, as you still failed to kill KT. Did you get close? Great. Would it have been quicker to just wipe with everyone else and get to the next attempt? Yes. If your usual raid leader is too quick to give up and call for a wipe, then that's something you might want to open a dialogue with him about. If a wipe is called for, at least half the people alive are probably going to listen. Making it even less likely you're going to succeed by pushing on. The correct way to handle this would be to wipe it up, and then suggest something along the lines of "hey, i think we might have still had a shot there, maybe we could try to push longer before wiping it." The incorrect way is what you did.
