Dr Boom was never an accurate DPS-meter for a raider. Why? Dr Boom is lvl 68, a raid boss at the time was 73. Therefore, your chance to hit and crit would be faulty by a full 25 skill levels, or 1% crit, and your base chance to miss would be 4% instead of 8%. My math my be off, I admit, but the difference between a level 68 and 73 mob are so great the DPS-measuring would be skewed.

hit's a non issue now that we can get to 17%. And does a world better job telling me numbers since it's a mob that dies, as opposed to one that just continues to run down the clock while my curses tick by.
