"PvP mages will avoid this glyph's phone calls (I know several of you guys suggested in the comments last week that you'd take this for PvP anyway, but I think you're crazy)"
I'm still gonna use the hell out of it. Free damage no longer on a CD and a happy little blue scapegoat/durable imp.
Min/maxing is dull.

Using the glyph in PvP means you're bad in PvP and don't know what the hell you're doing, flat out. The elemental is there for CC/Snares in PvP, not DPS lol. Get past 1500 and you will figure that out. Sorry to punch you with words but come on!

I will most likely give the perma pet a shot at BG's too. People who say you have to do something or you suck are idiots. In theory crafting, yeah without the glyph might be better, but so what?! In theory communism works. In a battleground things aren't always timed for when your ability is not on cooldown. I personally feel that the perma pet will work great in battlegrounds, but the CC ability without the glyph will still be better for arena. Only time will tell.

I believe he means Arena - much less room to navigate which makes your pets kite much more valuable. Regular battlegrounds are fine if you want to glyph - just don't blink on the Wsg ramp :)
